There were approximately 1052 sheets overprinted, and some were subsequently broken into single stamps for use on covers. Unsold sheets were withdrawn from sale on 4 July, 1965.
Stamps were printed by letterpress by James Upton Ltd., Birmingham, England and the surcharges were done by T. W. Robertson, London.
