Description: Poster stamp printed in deep blackish-blue on red, depicting the Münchnerkindl (L'Enfant de Munich / Child of Munich) sitting on a stylized lion. The Münchnerkindl is holding aloft a booklet for the organization "Verein der Plakatfreunde" (Association of Friends of the Poster), and the Organization's Logo is at the lower left of the image (the lion is resting a paw atop the logo). The stamp was issued by the V.d.P.'s Ortsgruppe München (Munich Division) and is signed "PIRCHAN" at the bottom of the stamp. (The V.d.P.'s logo was designed by Lucien Bernhard in 1909.) The stamp is in VF-XF condition, hinged.
