This Purge Mask features a comfortable high quality silicone skirt, a Neoprene Comfort Strap valued at $10.95, a high volume purge valve and two FREE tempered glass lens that are adjusted in each eye for perfect vision. We have in stock, every diopter from -1.5 to -8.0 in 1/2 diopter increments. You will receive your mask with 2 FREE pre-cut lens professionally installed and pressure tested for leaks. Please do not mistake these FREE pre-cut lens as add-on lens. They are pre-ground and inserted into your mask in place of the standard flat lens. For those customers only requiring lens for reading their gauges (similar to reading glasses), we even offer other masks with pre-cut bifocal lens where the top portion is plain glass and the bottom half can have a diopter anywhere from +1.0 to +4.0 in 1/2 diopter increments. For those of you who are interested in how we determine the proper lens, we simply start by looking at the second number (cylindrical) and see if it is equal to or greater than "1.0" (+ or -). If it is greater, then we cut that figure in half and algebraically add it to the first number (spherical). If the cylindrical is less than "1.0" (+ or -), we can ignore it. Since the final figure may fall somewhere in between the pre-ground lens, we will round off to the nearest diopter. If the final figure falls exactly halfway between the two lens, we will round up to the next higher diopter. If all of this sounds too complicated, just ignore the last two paragraphs and let us do the math. All you have to do is send us the numbers to your eyeglasses via the Marketworks "Special Instructions" section when you pay for your purchase through our automated checkout service. We are simply looking for the first two numbers (spherical & cylindrical) for each eye.
