to enlargeFactory OE cylinder head locating dowel applicable to all 1100, 1300 and 1500 SOHC FIAT engines with 12mm head bolts/studs as fitted to Fiat X1/9s, 128, Strada, and Yugo. Approx. 10mm height.
Note: Later SOHC engines with 10mm head bolts have deeper recesses in the engine block and require a 13mm dowel, PN 4440099. These shorter dowels will work on later engines if an M10x15 flat washer is placed under each unit when fitted into the block.
Two required per SOHC engine.
Critical to locating the cylinder head correctly.
If not installed or worn dowels are re-used, the head gasket will fail prematurely.
