Question: How do you apply a vinyl decal on a smooth surface? Answer: There are 6 steps that you can follow. 1) You need to make sure the applied area is clean and dry. If the surface is smooth and flat, that will work much better. If you want to line up correctly, please use the ruler or other measurement equipments. 2) After you clean the applied area, you should take off the bottom paper. It is useless now. The vinyl decal will stick on the paper/plastic mask. 3) Prepare a hard cardboard to squeeze out the bubble. 4) Stick or tape one corner of the paper/plastic mask on the applied area. Use the cardboard to slowly move from one top corner to one bottom corner. If you apply enough pressure or force, there should not be any bubbles in the vinyl decal. 5) Take off the paper/plastic mask. It is useless now. If the vinyl decal is still stick with the paper/plastic mask. You do not apply enough pressure or force on the vinyl decal. You should repeat the above step again. 6) If everything looks well, that is done. For a better result, do not wash the applied area for 3 days. If a vinyl decal is applied inside, its life span is almost forever. If a vinyl decal is applied outside, its life span is 3-6 years.
Question: How do you apply a paper mask on a vinyl decal? Answer: There are 3 steps that you can follow. 1) You need to prepare a few different things first. They are a hard cardboard, a paper/plastic mask (its size should be similar to the vinyl decal), and a smooth, clean, dry and flat surface. 2) You place a vinyl decal with bottom paper on the surface. After that, you place the paper/plastic mask on the vinyl decal. 3) You apply the paper/plastic mask from one top corner. You slowly move from one top corner to one bottom corner. You need to make sure that you apply enough pressure or force on the paper/plastic mask. By doing so, the paper/plastic mask will stick on the vinyl decal. Bubbles are not a big matter between the paper/plastic mask and the vinyl decal. However, if the bubbles prevent the paper/plastic mask to stick on the vinyl decal, that is a problem.
Question: How do you cut a vinyl decal into different parts? Answer: You need to prepare a cutter or scissor. Before you cut a vinyl decal, you need to make sure where you want to cut it. Question: How many different layers in a regular vinyl decal? Answer: In a regular vinyl decal, there are 3 different layers. The bottom one is a smooth paper. At the end, it is useless. The middle one is the vinyl decal. It is the most important layer of the vinyl decal. The top one is the paper/plastic mask. At the end, it is also useless. A vinyl decal comes in where the vinyl decal is stick with the smooth paper. When you apply the paper/plastic mask on the top of the vinyl decal, the vinyl decal will stick with the paper/plastic mask. At that moment, the bottom smooth paper is useless. After you apply the vinyl decal with paper/plastic mask on a surface, the paper/plastic mask become useless as well. Of course, you cannot apply the vinyl decal correctly without the smooth paper and paper/plastic mask.

They may want to paint or spray the image on the applied area forever.
Question: How do you remove bubbles that exist on a vinyl decal? Answer: Of course, it is better not to let the bubbles appear on the vinyl decal. If that happens, you need to do the following things. You need to make sure where the bubbles are located. The bubbles could locate in a few different areas. First, the bubbles could exist between the vinyl decal and the paper/plastic mask. This is not a big matter since paper/plastic mask is useless after you apply the vinyl decal. It will only be a problem if the bubbles prevent the paper/plastic mask to stick on the vinyl decal. Second, the bubbles could exist on the side of vinyl decal on the applied area. If that is the case, you can squeeze out the bubbles one by one. Third, the bubbles could exist in the center of vinyl decal on the applied area. If that is the case, it may be the worst situation. You may lose your vinyl decal if you cannot squeeze out the bubbles. To squeeze bubbles out of the vinyl decal, you need to push the bubbles to the side. If you cannot push the bubbles to the side, you can use a needle to release the air. It is better not to do so. You can also peel off the vinyl decal and apply it again. However, it is not a good idea either. Again, it is better not to let the bubbles appear on the vinyl decal in your applied area. You may take more time to solve and fix the bubbles problems than apply the vinyl decal correctly in the first time.
